So, what is the fuss about Barna Frames and why in the WORLD did I fly halfway across the US for a one day conference?
My gut feeling is that these are important topics in our time, and the Barna Group always arranges information in a really engaging way. I wanted to be in on the first year. Simple as that.
The concept is that in our generation, we have more information at our fingertips than any time before. BUT, with all that information, it’s like drinking out of a firehouse. We have a shorter attention span, feel more frazzled, and feel less educated than ever before. So, Barna is putting together these “Frames” or very short books on very important issues each year. And, this live event accompanies the books–spoken form of the same information.
Today, I’ll hear about all of these topics, and there isn’t one that doesn’t sound engaging to me.
So, I’ll be helping out with the social media and live-tweeting/Instagramming the event using the hashtag #barnaFRAMES. You can follow along with my thoughts and highlights. BUT, better than that, you can also watch the live feed for FREE. And that’s pretty awesome.
