Adulting sometimes means trial and error. We have done our fair share of buying beauty products and either loving them or hating them, so we thought it would only be fair to share the products that have stuck with us and keep us coming back to buy them again! Trying to be budget conscious and have a good beauty regime is no easy task so check checkout our 10 favorite beauty products you can buy at a drugstore (or Amazon!) —
1. Neutrogena Face Moisturizer – This might be the most expensive product on our list, but keep your face moisturized (especially with winter creeping up on us,) is so important. I love this one and it has SPF!
2. NYX Concealer – In a perfect world, we wouldn’t need this one. Back to reality, and this concealer gives me the coverage I need when I need to cover that one zit or fake that I got more than 4 hours of sleep. It’s priced right, too!
3. CoverGirl Blush – I have used this blush since my junior high days. I love that a few different shades come in one compact and I am able to give myself the shade of coloring that I want, depending on the day.
4. CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara – I’m biased because I love a lot of CoverGirl products so this is my favorite mascara. You can put on a few coats without it getting chunky and it does a little length and a little volume at the same time! I choose the very black color, but there is another option!
5. NYX Matte Lipstick – I wish I knew about this one sooner. Matte lipstick is such a thing right now, and NYX’s don’t make you feel all dry after the lipstick has been on for a little while. There is a lot of color choices and out favorite is Pure Red!
6. CoverGirl Lipstain – My last CoverGirl product, promise! This one does the job. It gives you lip color without making you look like your wearing anything. The color seeps into your lips and makes it look really natural. These work great with a layer of Chapstick over it when winter comes along!
7. Jergens Natural Glow – This isn’t a product that I use everyday but when I need some (even if it’s just a little) color, I slap on some of this lotion. It usually takes about two days for me to notice, and it definitely takes some concentration when applying it to make sure I don’t miss a spot but the color (especially, in February) is totally worth it. They even make a specific formula for your face!
8. e.l.f. Eye Shadow – So buying eye shadow is pretty much just a game to see how close you can get to the Naked Palette without spending the moola, right?! This eye shadow compact is the closest that I have gotten. There is a good variety of “baked” colors and it spreads well and stays on!
9. e.l.f. Contouring Blush and Bronzer – This is a great blush bronzer combo! Not to mention it comes in both a cream and a powder. You can make it as sheer or as bold as you want, which is great because you can use it for the workday and for going out at night Also it’s $3 so I think it’s worth a try!
10. Yes to Cucumber Facial Wipes – These are great! When I’m gone for the entire day and feeling as gross as can be, I’ll use these to just wipe my face and feel better (and lets be honest, my make-up is long gone as this point). They are also great for after a workout when you aren’t headed straight to the shower, when you are traveling, or when you can’t bring yourself to wash your makeup off at night. But that neveeeeeer happens, right?!
