Last night, I happened to run into Faye, the woman I was speaking of earlier this week. I mentioned to her that I had tried to get ahold of her this past week to give her my bounty of coats. She got exasperated and even a little choked up, and mentioned that she didn't have a coat of her own. She was just wearing a light vest over a sweatshirt.
I started questioning this "week missions" thing, and maybe if I had just been patient and not had my "week deadline" that I could have given Faye those coats. This has been the first little blip/question that has creeped into my head, and I'm sure there will be many more of those questions to come as the weeks go on. However, I know that other needing women got those coats and are now comforted by the warmth they provided…so I guess that has to be enough to soothe my mind of worry for Faye.
