Who doesn't love getting an card in the mail? A handwritten letter even beats a card for me. But, the VERY best of them all is getting a care package. A box packed with love from someone who misses you and cares for you. Since we live 600 miles away from any family–my mom sends me these sweet packages from time to time and I absolutely LOVE when she does.
Normally, the hold magazines she subscribes to and is ready to pass along. Sometimes they have some small treats for the boys, like Matchbox cars or stickers. They normally have a little card or note, and my favorite is when they have pictures of what has been happening with my little brothers.
My mom sending me these packages is the perfect way to show love to me–especially because we're so far away. She is my inspiration in passing this form of love along and making someone else's day.
