Oh, I loved your comments…about Food, Inc. and about farms. Seriously. I've been having a little bit of a blogging slump this week, and your comments encouraged me. :) I think it's because I'm a little over 1/3 into my adventuresome year, and I'm fatigued…not of living adventure, but documenting it. It's exciting to hear from you guys, and to know what you guys are experiencing this year.
As for the farm visit, I may not be able to visit this week…who knew you couldn't just pop into a local farm?? Kidding. I figured that, and stated that much at the beginning of the week. However, I'm thinking we might be able to visit on the week after next. AND, AND, AND, it will be a guided tour with a bunch of my boys' friends (and their moms…my friends!). Lucky us, plus, every kid goes home with a pint of Carolina strawberries that they pick. I think I'll make sure to get a bunch more and we'll do jam. So, exciting!
But, until I can actually get to the farm, please be inspired by the work of some amazing Etsy artists. I am enamored by the simplicity of these photographs–it conjures up images of such a sloooooow but determined lifestyle.

Thank you for sticking with me through this year of adventure. I am really and truly loving it. I am taking a road trip with my boys next week (daddy has to stay home and work. sadface.) and I'm so excited. I will be driving the 10 long hours back to the cornfields of Indiana, and it will be good for my soul. I need to go home. I need to be on flat ground, and be with my people. I'm so looking forward to the trip, and I will likely document it in a more extensive fashion that I normally do. However, I will most likely be light on content next week. I want to live the week and not just be there. I do hope you understand. :) I'll be back once more this week, and then we'll see for next.
You guys are the best. Thank you so much for leaving comments here and there that make a mark on this space. The spark that you bring encourages others to make magic in their own lives. Thank you, thank you.
