I haven't laughed as hard as I did at the Lazy 5 Ranch in a loooong time. I needed that. I'm glad I had the desire and the push to try something new…to exercise the 'risk muscle', if you will. I needed to try something completely out of my comfort zone. It was so funny, and I think I'm much closer to my mother-in-law because of our shared adventure.
Sharing an adventure really does bond you to the people you are with. Just think of people who travel together, or work together, or serve together. There is a bond there that is created from the mutual experience of the unknown…and the figuring it out. That's the beauty. That's where the joy lives. Right there, in the middle of adventure. I love that.
