Hi All!
I just wanted to let you know that after the holiday season…I am indeed…alive. :) I didn't make it through the Advent series because I was busy living Advent. This is what I have been struggling with. What is social media, really? And when is it a hindrance rather than a help? What glory does it bring, and to whom?
I have been wrestling with the idea of blogging…not wanting it to take me away from my primary pursuits in life. It feels like a job sometimes–a job that I am accountable to, but do not get paid (but pennies…eh…) for. My guess is, if you have been blogging for any length of time you have struggled with the same thoughts. Kendra of My First Kitchen said a lot of what I have been thinking oh so eloquently here.
So, please bear with me as I sort out my feelings and my thoughts…while I decide the direction of this blog…while I listen to the leadings and the whispers that require quiet and stillness to recognize. I'll be back with you, fear not.
