Here’s the honest truth.
These days, I don’t know if I’m an introvert or an extrovert.
I think fast, I would prefer to talk than listen (that sounds gross…I know), I get excited in groups of people.
But, as I get older, I find that I need time to myself to putz around and be in my own head. I have rich inner thought life, and I don’t have to be around people all the time.
Mike, my husband, is the king of the extroverts. He is the very most extroverted person I have ever met.
I’m just not sure about myself any more. I thought I was an extrovert, but I have definite introverted tendencies, too.
So, you can imagine I was so excited when Lindsey talked about her plans to write an eBook based on her sold out class on The Influence Network. She is kind of a self-made expert on introverts. After reading this sweet little field guide of sorts, I feel like I’m probably extroverted with an introverted side that gets very bossy when not indulged when needed.
I feel like the world could use a lot more of the introverted voice. Sometimes it feels like extroverts get all the airtime. There are so many myths about introverts Lindsey debunks, like all introverts are shy. I love the title “I Like People Too!”. If you are an introvert or love an introvert, you’ll probably want to check out this book that’s in the vein of Quiet, but shorter, sweeter, and a bit more laid back.
This collaboration was the first effort of Influence Publishing, a division of The Influence Network, where we will be offering both “Almost DIY” and also Full Service ePublishing options. We are incredibly excited about this first title and are excited to help authors both produce their books, but also get the word out and promote their books to the right audiences.
