I am participating in the Alphabet Walk at One Syndey Road today. I have the "Letter I", and instead of doing Ice Cream, or Italy, or Information, or something else…I picked this picture that is so dear to me.
This is a picture of Twig1's birth day. Little did I know that lunch at The Rusty Rudder with my mom and mother-in-law was not going to be the most exciting part of my day. About 9 hours after this picture was taken, I had a little boy in my arms. I didn't have a CLUE at that point, looking out over the water, that this would be my last lunch before I became a mom.
Impending. Impatient.
And here was that sweet boy just 2 days later. Little did we know the joy that would fill our sleep deprived, walking zombie, bleary eyed selves. A couple one day, a family the next. Crazy how life changes that way.
