I had a wonderfully delightful time visiting my homeland…Indiana. The corn wasn't growing yet, but within a few months time, I would be unable to find my children amongst the tall stalks (should I lose them in a cornfield, I mean. Which I wouldn't.). That signals the middle of summer in Indiana, miles and miles of the deepest green imaginable.
Spending time with family was good for my soul…especially the part that appreciates sleeping in every once in awhile. My soul loves sleeping in.
I took in an unbelievable sunset each and every night. The vast and flat land means you can see God's great nightly spectacle complete unobstructed. Most evenings were peppered with thunderstorms, as well. In short, my trip was a sweet slice of bliss. Just what I needed.
Now, speaking of adventure. Can you BELIEVE what I got to do while in Indiana? Stay tuned for more details. Because…you know with a picture like this, there is always a good story to go along…right??
